How can I connect to the WIFI?

  • The default network is CenturyLink2258-5G and password is m6dxs3xivdkfef
  • If needed, feel free to use the 2G network: CenturyLink2258 (Same pw: m6dxs3xivdkfef)
  • The 2nd floor has an extender network if needed: 7531Marker and Password: beourguest!

How can I adjust the TEMPERATURE in the house?

  • The Ecobee thermostat is located on the 2nd floor hallway. Feel free to adjust the temperature at any time by tapping on the number and scrolling up or down (lowest A/C setting is 70 during the warmest months when outdoor temps are close to 100 degrees). As part of our efforts to be more energy conscious, we kindly ask that you adjust the thermostat to 74 degrees before leaving the house for the full day at the parks or wherever your adventures take you.
  • There are four fans available if needed for additional circulation, stored in the garage.

Where can I find CLEANING SUPPLIES

  • For your convenience, the following are located in the kitchen pantry closet and/or under the kitchen sink:
  • Kitchen trash bags
  • All-purpose cleaning spray
  • Folex instant carpet stain remover
  • Vacuum cleaner
  • Broom/dustpan
  • Swiffer stick (please purchase Swiffer pads at the nearby Walmart or Publix, if needed.)

Where can I do LAUNDRY?

  • There is a laundry room on the 2nd floor with a washer, dryer, and detergent for your convenience. To operate the washer, simply select the program you want, place the detergent in the wash basket, close the door, and push down the Start button. A laundry basket, iron and iron board are also available for use if needed.

How can I get the TVs to work?

  • The TVs are all connected by Wifi. Occasionally, there are network outages due to the weather within the Encore community. If you run into connection issues, simply verify that they’re connected to the network using the credentials provided, then proceed to watch cable TV or log-in to your favorite streaming service!

What’s available in the GAME ROOM?

  • We have ping pong, foosball, arcade basketball, and an oversized Connect 4 for your entertainment! Kindly place ping pong balls/paddles and foosball balls back in the basket after your final games. You will also find cards and board games in the game room and the living room book shelf.

Where is the FIRST-AID Kit?

  • It is available in the drawer under the record player, equipped with an assortment of supplies to treat minor cuts and scrapes. The closest pharmacy is ~5 minutes south: CVS at 7575 Osceola Polk Line Rd, Davenport.

Where are the mini CRIB and PACK-AND-PLAY?

  • A rolling mini crib is provided in the primary bedroom upstairs with a mattress sheet, protector, and pad. Feel free to leave as is in bedroom after use. We also have a pack-and-play if needed but please request in advance.

Where is the INFANT BATH TUB?

  • Please check the laundry room shelf next to the pool towels.

Can I arrange car service to/from the house? Can I have food/package DELIVERY to the house during my stay? 

  • Yes! Please instruct the ride share or food delivery driver to push the call security button to be able to enter through the gate. Security will let them through.
  • FedEx, UPS, Amazon Prime, Walmart+, DoorDash, Costco Same Day Shipping, InstaCart, Target’s Shipt, and Kroger all deliver to the neighborhood.
  • Note: The community does not accept USPS packages and they will be returned to sender. If an Amazon Seller ships using USPS, the local post office will do a return to sender.
  • We will not be responsible for any case of theft or loss of items delivered to the house.

Do you have a SOUND SYSTEM?

  • We have a bluetooth record player in the living room.
  • To play the Disney record: Turn the FUNCTION knob to the PHONO position. The red light will light to show that the turntable is on. Place the record on the turntable platter, open the tone arm clip to release the tone arm and gently move it over the record. The turntable will begin to spin.To play your own music: Turn the FUNCTION knob to the BT (Bluetooth) position, and the blue LED light will begin to flash. Connect your phone via Bluetooth and pair to “Victrola Journey” to play your favorite Disney tunes!

Do you have a SCENT DIFFUSER?

  • You are in for a treat! We have a silver diffuser located on the top shelf above the record player. Simply press and hold the power button to turn on/off. It’ll start to smell like a 5-star luxury hotel lobby before you know it!

Need to mix a COCKTAIL! Do you have tools?

  • Yes! You can find an 8-piece cocktail shaker in the kitchen. Enjoy!

Can I get a MID-STAY CLEAN?

  • Unlike a hotel, we don’t offer daily housekeeping but a cleaning service can be requested during your stay for an additional fee. Please let us know in advance so we can coordinate.

I BROKE/DAMAGED something in the house. What do I do?

  • We completely understand accidents happen! But we can’t fix anything for the next guest if we don’t know. Please message us as soon as possible.

OUTSIDE

What is the ALARM SOUND when I open the sliding doors?

  • Required by law, the sliding doors leading to the backyard are equipped with a safe pool alarm system. The alarm will sound if the delay button is not pressed when doors are opened. Press the alarm delay button on the wall next to the doors before each entry and exit. The unit will then reset automatically after 15 seconds to resume protection.

Where can I get PROPANE for the grill?

  • You can get the tank refilled at the 7-Eleven/Mobil just outside the community. Grill tongs, spatula, and brush can be found in the kitchen drawers.

How do I turn on the SPA JETS?

  • There is a countdown timer on the wall by the outdoor sofa. Simply set your desired time and unwind in the bubbles!

How do I turn on the POOL LIGHTS?

  • There is a dial on the interior wall next to the sliding doors.

ANYTHING ELSE to be mindful of?

  • Please do not leave food outside overnight as raccoons will make their way to it and leave a mess behind!

Pool Cleaning

  • We have a pool company come twice a week (typically on Mondays and Friday mornings barring rain showers) to service the pool and make any adjustments that are necessary. They will also give the pool a quick clean. The service usually takes less than half an hour, so we appreciate you accommodating them if they happen to visit during your stay.

Pest Control

  • As you can imagine, Florida is home to diverse wildlife, including insects and reptiles. We have regular pest control, and may be scheduled to come treat the property (indoors and out) during your stay. The service usually takes less than 30 min, so we appreciate you accommodating them if they happen to visit during your stay.
  • Note: Geckos are extremely common in Florida, especially around Kissimmee. They’re harmless, but they can sneak in!

Backyard Gates

  • For safety purposes and to abide by the HOA rules, please keep the gates closed when not in use.

Noise Disturbances during Quiet Hours (10pm-7am)

  • These are uncommon, but if you experience any noise disturbances from nearby houses during quiet hours, please call the security guard house at (321) 677-0459 and they will come shut any parties down. 

Hot Water in Encore Resort homes

  • Our home has two high-efficiency tankless water heaters, so you won’t run out of hot water. If several showers run at once, however, you may notice the temperature may dip slightly—staggering showers helps keep it nice and hot for everyone.

  • Finns Restaurant and Shark Lounge are onsite at the Encore Clubhouse (~10 minute walk from the house) and open for dine-in or delivery
